I you have wishes or if there's something down here's the place to leave your comments.
The secret Oyster links all fail with decryption error. I have much success with mega so there must be something wrong with these files :(
ReplyDeleteThere's nothing wrong with these files, but Mega causes a lot of Trouble as reported from others. Try tomorrow - wii reupload them on a different hoster.
ReplyDeleteLink to Eskaton - ARDEUR points to 4 Visions. Please correct. Thanks in advance..
ReplyDeletecould you possibly get any Japanese jazz.cheers
ReplyDeleteSo what do you need? I have a huge collection of japanese fusion still not published - or it's about music like Hiromi Uehara?
ReplyDeletetell me.
Have you heard this or the work of Crowther?
ReplyDeletehttps://www.amazon.de/Amherst-Dislodged-Tim-Crowther/dp/B000BROO5Y
i could send it directly to you via dropbox, won't publish it here. tell me.
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
Deletewhat is the page theme music from?
ReplyDeleteThe music is from Les McCann Album: Hustle To Survive Title: Us - not on Blogged yet. If wished i can upload it.
DeleteMost of Les McCann's Music is old school Soul Jazz beginning in '59, there were some few fusion related Albums so far.
note that for Perigeo:
ReplyDeletenote for PERIGEO: Fata Morgana is same album as Non È Poi Così Lontano, but missing 1 song "Acoustic Image" (where did it go? it is listed on back of the album art). The upload of Fata is higher quality (maybe from CD?) than Non Poi which is taken from LP rip.
Thanks for the Info - i will re-listen to both and make a decision to what will be keeped on the Blog.
DeleteI was not aware that same album exists with different names!
Mistaken by Discogs...
Acoustic Image is on Poi Così Lontano so far.
I mean "acoustic image" is missing on your post of fata morgana, but was on original album of fata, as well as Poi Cosi. again they are same album.
DeleteI fixed and reorganized the "Fata Morgana" Album.
DeleteHow to DL BARBARA THOMPSON’S PARAPHERNALIA - WILD TALES Is it down?
ReplyDeleteHi, I discovered your site a week ago and I am very happy. I am a big fan of jazz-rock, fusion, jazz, funk music and there are many good things here. Thanks to the vimanafusion team :)
ReplyDeleteHi Jaime, you're welcome!...if there's something you need not published yet just let me know. Jazz Fusion is one of the most beautiful music styles ever...:-)
DeleteI downloaded "Return of the Headhunters" album (year 1998) but I think there's a lag problem with minutes of the songs and download error with Michel Cusson Wild Unit 2 but if you can't repost these albums, no worries...there are many other things to take :). If you have Adam Nitti's albums, it's welcome too. I only have "Balance" album ).
ReplyDeleteSo, i will post Adam Nitti complete here this week.
Deletei'm not sure what you mean with "lag", all Albums published here have been listened complete before and reworked.
if needed i can repost/replace them
AH great for Adam Nitti. Thanks ! I'm from France and my english is approximate. "lag" means "decalage" in french and I have a problem with the minutes of the songs on "Return of the headhunters" but it doesn't matter.
ReplyDeleteHi, Antoine Fafard and Alain Caron (Septentrion and Multiple faces album doesn't work) links all fail with decryption error. Antoine Fafard's album "Proto Mundi" is OK. Can you or not reupload others Antoine Fafard's albums ?
ReplyDeleteYour request is somewhat unclear, can you specify what you mean with "others"?
ReplyDeleteI will reupload the 2 Albums on yandex tonight. MEGA is a mess.
"Others" mean that all others Antoine Fafard's albums do not work. I try to download Fafard albums but links all fail with decryption error. Only album "Proto Mundi" is OK. Thanks for reupload Alain Caron :)
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteDou you still need these Albums? I've got them.
DeleteHi, I'm Stefan from Bucharest, Romania.
ReplyDeleteFirst of all, I congratulate you for your excellent blog and sensational music !
Second, I ask you very much to re-up all albums at Pierre Moerlen's Gong on Yandex, because on Mega it gives "encryption error"
Many thanks !
Gratefully,
Stefan
Hi Stefan, thanks for liking my blog. Mega's doing sometimes errors to some users, can you try for emergeny MS Internet explorer to figure out of downloads are working?
ReplyDeleteBut in can re-upload Pierre on Yandex tonight, and there's something coming today what is very close to Gong....stay tuned :-)
Thanks for your quick answer !
DeleteI'm sorry, I mean Yaki, not Yandex, because it works fine for me. I use Opera, Chrome and Mozilla and on all these browsers, the albums on PM's Gong gave error.
So i reuploaded all 9 albums to english yandex. my cloudsoft doesn't know Yaki, me either :-). so try again.
Deleteif you like Moerlens Gong i would recomend TRIBUTE with Pierre Moerlen on Drums.
Many thanks again !
DeleteHI again and sorry to disturb you with another great asking:
ReplyDeletePlease, can you re-up the links on Sea Level, because all are dead.
Thanks a lot again !
Hi, it is your side. I just tested Sea Level and Hardie, all links are working normal with MEGA, they are NOT down. Delete your Browsercache or try a diferent one.
DeleteYou're right, thanks a lot !
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteThe same with Sebastian Hardie...
ReplyDeleteenhorabuena por tu primer año...
ReplyDeletebesos desde Murcia..
I have this one and another Crowther. i can send it to you.
ReplyDeleteDunno if you take requests, but here goes nothin':
ReplyDelete1. A J-fusion band called BARAKA. They've got at least a half-dozen albums out, possibly more - what little I've heard thus far has been excellent.
2: French rock landmark Jean-Pascal Boffo. For years I'd gotten him confused with Jean-Michael Jarre (who frankly I find a bit... boring). Well, Boffo is simply.....boffo! Appreciate anything you can provide us.
3: Paul Gilbert. Sure, he's hardly an unknown, but his great fusion/shred albums fall out-of-print almost as soon as he releases them!
Many thanks in advance for anything you can manage to find/post by these artists.
Forgotten to mention: i have 11 Gilbert in HQ so far!
Deletefor sure i can help witrh this...
ReplyDeletei have 10 Boffos in 320 and 5 Baraka also in HQ.....if you give me some time?
then i will consider an upload.....
And believe me JARRE is boring......lol
A thousand thanks for your prompt reply. Hey, and take your time - just knowing they're en route is enough to make my day!
ReplyDeleteYeah Paul Gilbert, I like this !! If you have got Steve Weingart albums, I appreciate also this :). Thanks for this !
ReplyDeleteI have all Solo Albums so far, i will publish them here, give some time ;.)
DeleteThis comment has been removed by the author.
ReplyDeleteYeaah Steve Weingart !! A big thank you to you.
ReplyDeleteYou're Welcome.
Deletelisten: Latest 2017 Weingart release as i know still not available on the web, only on regular offers...when i get it i will post it.
Attaboy!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat is the song that is at the top of your page that automatically plays? I need to know who this is! Its amazing!
ReplyDeleteThis is: Les McCann from the 1976 Album Hustle To Survive with title song Us.
DeleteIt's not blogged yet.
if you can't find it tell me, i will publish it.
Info: Les McCan only did a very few Jazz Rock related Albums in his career, everthing else is contemporary Jazz or Soul Jazz.
Love it! Thank you!
DeleteHappy New Year, everyone....and sincerely red-faced apologies!
ReplyDelete25 years ago, I got a copy of Boffo's CARILLONS and was very impressed - enough to want to hear more, though Boffo albums were, and are, rare sightings in the States. Well, I still insist CARILLONS is first-rate (as it turns out, so is RITUEL, and possibly even NOMADES as well) but the rest...?
Dear God....this man is almost as boring as Jarre!
Again: abject apologies. (But check our CARILLONS and RITUEL, by all means.)
Happy New Year 2019 to Vimanafusion Team !! Thanks for all.
ReplyDeleteHi, do you have Brecker Brothers studio albums ? Album "Return of the Brecker Brothers" released in 1992 can be posted ?
ReplyDeleteHi - thank you for making this great music accessible to fans.
ReplyDeleteA couple of Dennis Chambers downloads (Big City, Front Page) seem to need passwords.
Hi Richard, there is no password protected file in my blog. Dennis Chambers albums have been downloaded several hundred times so far.
DeletePlease try another browser.

ReplyDeleteWell done like always - love especially the new WINSTONS!
ReplyDeleteOne request - can you dig up anything by a terrific Louisiana fusion band called WOODENHEAD? If anybody can, it's you.
I *knew* you'd be able to scare up a few choice WOODENHEADs!
ReplyDeleteMany thanks as always - what a great band!
Hi, I try download Brian Auger and Jeff golub album "Train Keeps a Rolling" but not possible...
ReplyDeleteI revisited the hosting server, in this case mail dot ru and it works fine from here. please try different browser. link is valid.
ReplyDeleteCan't DL any of the Simon Phillips PROTOCOL albums....they all come up "Decryption error".
ReplyDeleteCan this be remedied?
Do you have Woodenhead – Music From The Big Green Warehouse
ReplyDeleteMICHAEL ZENTNER-lp Present Time (1983).
ReplyDeletefantastic blog!
ReplyDeletedo you have this please?
Janko Nilovic - Super America 1976 Lp
many thanks
Hello again! Can't help but notice you've been stuck on SALUKI for a while now - may I suggest a title?
ReplyDeleteThere's a little-known but OUTSTANDING heavy fusion album from the UK entitled RED. It was released in '83, after which it pretty much disappeared, and no it has nothing to do with the Crimso classic. In fact, you can hear it on YouTube at
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HeRF_ScVZuk
in case you're curious.
Anyhow....if you could by some chance unearth it as an audio file, and post it here, all of us dodgy characters who frequent this blog would be in your debt. (Well....further in debt than we already are.)
Like I've said more than once....if anybody out there can rescue this kind of buried treasure from oblivion, it's Vimana Fusion!
SD Joe
Yes, this blog is fantastic and precious.
ReplyDeleteyour blog is invaluable..can you do a CRO-MAGNON collection please(not to be confused with the j-pop band cromagnon.
ReplyDeletethank you
unfortunateley this band does not match my criteria.
DeleteExcellent website - thank you for enabling me to broaden my jazz fusion interests. However like several others I would comment that there does appear to be an issue with mega upload. Your latest posts require a password to open file and on Weather Report there are decryption errors from Tale Spinnin' onwards - the earlier files open fine. Tried both Edge and Chrome with same result.
ReplyDeleteThank you for liking my blog.
ReplyDeleteTo make it clear: i never use passwords!
be sure that you use LATEST Winrar 5.80 due to important changes what causes incompatibilites from Rar4 to Rar5. Rar4 does not decompress Rar5 packed files anymore.
I know MEGA causes errors somtimes.
Tell me which Album is affected, i wii reupload it on Yandex.
But WR has been downloaded several hundred times as i can see in statistics.
Thank you for the tip on rar 5- solved the problem! WR albums not working are Tale Spinnin; Mysterious Traveller; Sweetnighter; Live In Tokyo; I sing The Body Electric and Weather Report 1971
DeleteSo i just tried to download those WR albums from here...they ALL work fine, it mus be you.
ReplyDeleteOnly recommendation:
DELETE MEGA COOKIE.
DELETE BROWSER CACHE.
Try a CLEAN Browser.
Recommendable is Vivaldi (Opera Fork)
Try from different Computer if possible.
Best wishes for Christmas and for the new year. Thank you for everything :)
ReplyDeleteyour blog is fantastic....please keep the japanese fusion coming..please!
ReplyDeleteHi,could you upload Mandingo - The Primeval Rhythm Of Life Remastered,320kb?
ReplyDeletewill be here...but a bit later...right now focus on japanese fusion...
DeleteOr this https://www.discogs.com/Chema-V%C3%ADlchez-Tierra-De-Las-3-Culturas/release/3543694
ReplyDeleteI really reeeeeally need this :>>

mr.jazzfusionhiphop
Hi Friend, thanks al lot for this gift...i was looking for this album :)
ReplyDeletewill appear in this blog in a few minutes!
If you like i will mention you.
you can remove this link now...
Glad you could use it and thanks for the shout out. The link deletes it's self in 14 days because I don't have a account with them so you can just delete the post if you want. If you need anything just let me know
DeleteHello again! I hate imposing like this, so I try to do it rarely (and never waste your time when I do). Anyway - ever hear of BRYAN SCARY? To merely say he's brilliant is to undersell him - imagine a blend of Queen, ELO, Yes, the Beatles, Todd Rundgren, Jellyfish and vintage Goblin; ie, the best band you've never heard. And then some.
ReplyDeleteThere are four amazing albums (THE SHREDDING TEARS, FLIGHT OF THE KNIFE, DAFFY'S ELIXIR and BIRDS) and a genius EP (MAD VALENTINES) out there. That he's practically a complete unknown, still, is a crime against art and music both, but an injustice you can help rectify.... naturally, your server will be inundated with grateful fan mail from VIMANAFUSION regulars in your debt once more, wondering how in the world you find such jewels time and time again. (Don't worry - it'll be our secret.)
Hoping you are well - and safe - in the midst of this evil virus insanity momentarily holding us ALL hostage.....
Ok - you got me!
ReplyDeletei've never heard of him.
I got them all.
Do you want me to publish them?
And you are not wasting my time...feel free to suggest or ask. you're welcome.
I am ok and well but have a pinched nerve and cannot go to a massagist to due restrictions...so it's quite a bit difficult to blog...hope you are fine to and you can stay at home...
I've got em too - but it's all the OTHER folks who visit the site who are missing out. Bryan Scary is a major talent no one has even heard of, and that needs to change. If given my druthers, I'd post FLIGHT OF THE KNIFE and BIRDS first.....if people go as nuts over them as I did on first listen, by all means post the others.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your difficulties; a pinched nerve is no joke. So take your time adding them to the site. But now, the important question: seriously - what did YOU think after hearing them? Are my ravings accurate or overkill?
OK...i have to listen them first.
ReplyDeletewill do that tomorrow. When you say first it has to be the last. the last appear above in my blog.
there are 5 albums...so i'm curious now..will tell you my impression.
right now i am with them:
Imán, Califato Independiente
spanish fusion.....very interesting music so far...2 albums made....i guess i will publish them..
Dude, do you have to chi ka by kazumi watanabe?
ReplyDeleteThis comment has been removed by a blog administrator.
ReplyDeleteDo you have any kazumi watanabe album by any chance
ReplyDeletei have all Watanabi Albums.
ReplyDeleteThat's awesome man.i can't find them anywhere.
DeleteCould you please upload them
Say, apropos of nothing, I'm LOVING these Players albums you dug up. Had never heard, nor heard of, these guys previous to your posting these albums, but they're knockouts (particularly SPACE TRAVEL). Yet another panful of gold mined by Vimana Fusion!
ReplyDeleteThankx, yes, another great powerful Japanese Band i love to share :-)
ReplyDeleteHello my friend, someone sent this to me and thought you could use it, not sure if this is a cd but it doesn't sound like vinyl. I noticed that this was missing from your list for them, enjoy and hope all is well.

Hello Vimana Fusion,
ReplyDeleteExcellent website. There must be some issue with a few files on MEGA.
The New Tony Williams Lifetime - 1975 - Believe It and 1976 - Million Dollar Legs
are giving me "decryption error". I tried 2 different browsers, on 2 different computers
with different OS (Mac and Linux). I even tried at different hours 2 days apart. No luck.
Also Weather Report - 1971, I sing the Body Electric and 1972 - Live in Tokyo, the
same result. Could you please re-up the files or try Yandex.
Thank you in advance.
Once again, awesome site.
Bill
All fixed to Yandex.
